Join our team in a role where you will be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of cost structures of purchased parts. This includes establishing cost transparency, identifying cost drivers, and building up cost-analysis know-how.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate cost structures (material costs, manufacturing process, overhead) of purchased parts.
• Identify cost reduction potentials in electronic and electromechanical products.
• Support Purchasing in price negotiations by analyzing incoming proposals.
• Conduct cost optimization workshops in cooperation with Category Purchasing at supplier sites.
• Calculate target prices of new products during the development phase.
• Identify and evaluate cost saving potentials by modifying the products’ design, specification, or the manufacturing process.
• Benchmark calculation of components and assemblies.

Qualifications:

• Diploma from an institute of higher education in electrical or mechanical engineering. A technical degree with relevant experience is also acceptable.
• 3 years of experience in the Electronic Industry.
• Advanced knowledge (preferably experience) in the manufacturing field.
• Basic financial knowledge about the automotive electronics market trends, key market players, etc.
• High-level expertise in MS-Office (Excel and PPT).
• Communication/negotiation skills in English.
• Analytical way of thinking.
• Willingness to travel (20% of working time on average. Destination: mainly Europe, rarely Asia or North America).
